Compatibility: Use Database Seeder 3.5.0 with Engine 2.12.0. The bundled blank database snapshot includes the current economy-analytics and psychic witness-memory schema.

Optional Psionics Packages

The new optional Psionics package installs Basic Psionics and Advanced Psionics, a Psionic Discipline skill, Focus resources and regeneration, and skill-based power unlocks. Basic Psionics supplies mind contact, directed speech, barriers, self-audit and expulsion. Advanced Psionics adds investigation, support, influence and telekinetic techniques, alongside spell-backed astral projection, possession, levitation and description illusion powers.

The package creates unassigned capabilities. Builders choose how characters gain access through their setting's merits or effects; installation does not grant powers to characters or add chargen choices. Declining installation writes no psionic content. Psychometric impressions remain disabled and virtual-witness reports remain immediate until builders choose different settings.

Psychic Combat Examples

Advanced Psionics includes eleven additional combat powers: Force Strike and Force Lance for damage; Psychic Trip, Concussive Pulse, Repulse, Wrench, Draw Foe and Break Hold for control; and three active defences using opposed interception, finite charges or damage absorption. These provide configurable examples of the Engine's new magical combat system with explicit Focus costs and skill unlock bands.

Player Help and Editable Presentation

Stock powers have readable names, syntax and examples for their school commands, plus authored echoes for activation, failure, results and termination. Mind contact supports a separate connect-back operation so a character can respond to an unfamiliar incoming presence without requiring identity disclosure. Astral Projection uses the stock organic Human race.

Reruns add missing stock definitions and capability entries, preserve authored customisations, and repair recognised older stock names, help and generic echo placeholders. Conflicting identities are reported explicitly. Builders can edit supported echo fields through the power editor and retain those changes across saving and loading.
