A daisy-chained [telephone] that can play a greeting, record messages to a [tape], and expose downstream handsets

You can use the following options with this component:
name <name> - sets the name of the component
desc <desc> - sets the description of the component
watts <#> - sets how much power the answering machine draws while switched on
ring <emote> - sets the emote used when it rings
ringvolume <quiet|normal|loud> - sets the default player-selectable ring setting
premote <emote> - sets the emote prepended when someone transmits into the line
rings <#> - sets the default number of rings before the machine answers
connection add <gender> <type> <powered> - adds a connector type
connection remove <gender> <type> - removes a connector type
