Command words: eat

The eat command is used to make your character eat food.

You can eat food directly from containers, including containers on tables (e.g. a dinner plate). Some characters might be able to eat "yield" directly from the room, like vegetation.

The core syntax for this command is as follows:

eat <food> - eat a bite of some food
eat all <food> - eat all bites of a particular food item
eat <#bites> <food> - eat a certain number of bites of a food item
eat [all|<#bites>] <food> from <container> - eats food (as above) from a container
eat [all|<#bites>] <food> on <table> - eats food (as above) from a table
eat [all|<#bites>] <food> from <container> on <table> - eats food (as above) from a container on a table

Additionally, if you can eat foragable yields, the syntax is as per below:

eat yield <which> - eats a bite of a yield directly from a room (if permitted)
eat all yield <which> - eats all bites of a yield directly from a room
eat <#bites> yield <which> - eats a certain number of bites of yield from a room
