Media

The media command operates local media decks and their removable physical media. You can use the following syntax: media <item> status - shows a deck, medium, monitor, or speaker's current state media <monitor|speaker> volume <volume> - sets its audio output volume; silent mutes it media <medium|digital recorder> list - lists named recordings media <deck> record <name> - starts recording its connected media input onto the inserted medium media <digital recorder> snapshot <name> - saves the current camera frame media <deck> play <name> - plays a named recording from the inserted medium to its connected output media <digital recorder> still <name> [<hh:mm:ss>] - inspects a stored video frame media <deck> stop - stops recording or playback media <medium> erase <name> - permanently erases a named recording Use normal put and get commands to insert or remove a compatible medium from a deck's container.
