The auction command is used to interact with auction houses, and it must be used at a location that is an auction house. You should also see the related command AUCTIONS. The syntax for using this command is as follows: auction preview <lot> - view an auction lot currently being auctioned auction sell <item> <price> <bank code>:<accn>|cash [<buyout price>] - lists an item for sale auction sell property <property> <price> <bank code>:<accn>|cash [<buyout price>] - lists your ownership share in a property for sale auction bid <lot> <bid> [bank <account>] - makes a bid on an auction lot auction buyout <lot> [bank <account>] - pays the buyout price on an auction lot auction claim - claims all movable items won or not sold auction refund - claims all money owed for unsuccessful bids or cash seller proceeds auction cancel <lot> - cancels an auction lot Auction house managers standing at their auction house can use auction help to see employment, task, finance, and scheduled-rule commands. Use auction tasks actions and auction tasks conditions for the full task action and condition catalogues when you have access.

Administrator variant

This command is used to create and edit auction houses. The syntax for using this command is as follows: auction list - lists all auction houses auction edit <which> - begins editing an auction house auction close - stops editing an auction house auction show <which> - views an auction house auction edit new <name> <economic zone> <bank>|none - creates a new auction house based in your current location auction set name <name> - renames the auction house auction set economiczone <which> - changes the economic zone auction set fee <amount> - sets the flat fee for listing an item auction set rate <%> - sets the percentage fee for listing an item auction set bank <bank code>:<accn>|none - changes or clears the bank account for revenues auction set deposit <amount> - deposits cash into the auction house reserve auction set withdraw <amount> - withdraws cash from the auction house reserve auction set ledger [count] - reviews reserve ledger entries auction set time <time period> - sets the amount of time auctions run for auction set location - changes the location of the auction house to the current cell There is also the player version of the command, which is used to interact with auction houses, and it must be used at a location that is an auction house.
