The Shield command is used to create and edit Shield Types, which are used in the matching game item components to turn an item into a shield.

You will separately need to make the matching item component with the Component command.

You can use the following syntax with this command:

shield list - lists all shield types
shield edit <id|name> - opens the specified shield type for editing
shield edit new <name> <skill> <armour> - creates a new shield type for editing
shield edit - equivalent of doing SHOW on your currently editing shield type
shield close - closes the currently edited shield type
shield clone <id|name> <new name> - creates a carbon copy of a shield type for editing
shield show <id|name> - shows a particular shield type
shield set name <name> - renames the armour type
shield set trait <which> - sets the trait used for blocking
shield set bonus <#> - sets the bonus for blocking
shield set stamina <#> - sets the stamina usage per block
shield set armour <which> - sets the armour type for reducing damage
