Combat Command Help
The combat command is used to view, manage and adopt various settings that control how your character will act in combat.
Most important of these are combat settings, which are pre-defined sets of rules about what your character will do in combat.
There are a number of global templates for these that cover a variety of situations but you can create and customise your own once you feel comfortable doing so.
The syntax to use this command is as follows:
combat help - shows this list
combat status - shows information about your current conflict
combat list - shows available combat settings
combat show <id/name> - shows details of a particular combat setting
combat set <id/name> - adopts a particular combat setting as your current
combat clone <id/name> <newname> - makes a new combat setting out of an existing one for editing
combat defense <block/dodge/parry/none> - sets or clears a favoured defense type
combat targets - shows you whether you would or wouldn't attack people in the room with your current settings
Additionally, there are numerous options for configuring combat settings. See combat config help for more information.
