This command is used to create and edit merits (also known as flaws or quirks). These can be added to items and characters to give them various effects.

You can use the following commands to work with merits:

merit list - lists all merits
merit show <id|name> - shows a merit
merit show - an alias for showing your currently edited merit
merit edit <which> - begin editing a particular existing merit
merit edit - an alias for showing your currently edited merit
merit close - stop editing your current merit
merit edit new <type> <name> - creates and begins editing a new merit
merit clone <old> <newName> - clones and begins editing a merit
merit types - shows a list of merit types
merit typehelp <type> - shows the help text for a merit type
merit set ... - edits the properties of a merit. See the type help for more info.
