The characteristic command is used to work with characteristic definitions, values and profiles.
Characteristics are also sometimes known as 'variables', and are used for both items (where they may represent things like variable colours, shapes, designs or the like) and also characters (where they can represent things like eye colour, hair style, etc).
Characteristic Definitions are the 'types' of characteristics.
Characteristic Values are the possible values that may match a characteristic type.
Characteristic Profiles are curated lists of characteristic values that control permitted values.
You must use one of the following subcommands of this command:
characteristic definition ... - work with characteristic definitions
characteristic value ... - work with characteristic values
characteristic profile ... - work with characteristic profiles
