Command reference
Install
Command words: install
Permission: NPC
The install command is used to put compatible loose items into their working location. It can install a door into an exit, a loose lock into a lockable item or door, or a vehicle module into a compatible vehicle installation point. You must usually be holding the thing being installed, and ordinary characters take time to complete the work.
Doors are installed into exits, which may be cardinal directions like north or non-cardinal exit keywords like cell1. The exit must accept doors, must not already have one, and must be sized for the door. If you specify inwards or outwards, that is from your current side of the exit.
Locks must be loose installable lock items and must be unlocked before installation. Vehicle modules use the vehicle's own installation points and access checks. Any delayed installation can be interrupted if you move, lose the item, or the target stops being present.
The syntax is as follows:
install <door> <exit> [inwards|outwards] - installs a held door into an exit
install <lock> <door|container|exit> - installs a held lock into a lockable target
install <module> <vehicle> [<point>] - installs a held vehicle module into a vehicle
