Command reference
Target
Command words: target
Permission: Any
This command allows you to specifically target an opponent's bodypart, such as a hand, an eye, their head etc. This makes it far more likely that you will hit these locations in combat. This works for both melee and ranged combat.
While targeting a bodypart, your melee strikes will be easier to defend against in proportion to how hard the bodypart was to hit in the first place. This is because rather than waiting for openings in your opponent's defense you are choosing to make non-optimal strikes to hit the target bodypart.
Additionally, it will be slightly harder for you to defend against others while you continue to target the bodypart. This is because in making these non-optimal strikes you are finishing in a slightly worse position for maintaining an effective defense.
Finally, in ranged combat your shots will be harder while you are trying to hit a specific bodypart. This penalty gets worse non-linearly over longer ranges.
The syntax for this command is as follows:
target <bodypart> - begins targeting a specific bodypart of your current combat target
target none - stops targeting any specific bodypart
